Position Overview

This role combines fieldwork and office tasks, involving collaboration with departments such as operations and environmental compliance. Our goal is to foster an environment where you can learn about the drinking water and wastewater utility industry and apply this knowledge toward your future career.

Responsibilities
  1. Support monthly compliance reporting
  2. Conduct vertical asset inspections for asset management
  3. Manage records for Aqua and developer project programs
  4. Organize engineering drawings and maintain records on shared drives or OnBase
  5. Assist in reviewing engineering designs for water main replacement projects
  6. Visit construction sites as needed
  7. Lead service line inventory efforts
  8. Support project management within the engineering team
  9. Assist with cross connection control programs
  10. Handle permit applications (Municipal, NJDEP, NJDOT, County, etc.)
  11. Perform general data entry
  12. Support other tasks or projects as assigned
Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Ability to work independently to complete assignments
  • Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written
  • Willingness to work in both office and field environments
