Responsibilities

This individual will be a member of our Kansas City Civil Engineering team. Primary responsibilities will include serving as a design engineer and collaborating with engineers and CAD Technicians on site and land development projects. Project elements include layout, grading, stormwater drainage systems, water distribution, sanitary collection, stormwater detention, stormwater treatment, and public roadways.

Depending on experience, additional responsibilities may involve project management and business development activities, with a focus on specific target areas and client interactions. Excellent client service and technical skills are essential. Proactivity and initiative to meet client and end-user needs are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (MS preferred)
• PE license in Missouri or Kansas, or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire
• 4+ years relevant experience
• Strong technical design background
• Excellent communication, verbal and written, and organizational skills
• Thorough knowledge of U.S. design codes and standards
• Local experience is a plus

Hybrid Position Details

As a Hybrid Firm, we offer flexibility with in-office and remote work options. Candidates should be able to commute or travel periodically to the office. We provide a one-time $1,000 stipend to set up a home office, paid after the first week, plus a $50 monthly stipend for ongoing expenses.
