About the role

Key responsibilities

• Accountability for complete project execution, including team leadership, control panel engineering, SCADA design, PLC and HMI programming, and site start‑up support of integrated systems.
• Manage project resources, including people, time and budgets, to successfully achieve project goals.
• Design, specify, program, simulate, test, and commission automation and controls systems.
• Configure, test, and commission PLC and HMI based control systems.
• Provide guidance and oversee maintenance of programs for PLCs and PCs, coordinating with Process Engineers, Project Engineers, Design Engineers, IT staff, and Production/Maintenance personnel.
• Develop and execute complex process control system integration projects of small to medium size with significant complexity simultaneously.
• Lead projects from design to delivery to end users, writing design specifications, gathering input, validating deliverables with stakeholders, and coordinating integrators for automation and MES applications.
• Deliver project outcomes independently while adhering to scope, schedule, and budget constraints.

About you

• Minimum B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical degree.
• Minimum seven years of automation experience with MES, HMI, SCADA, PLCs, and control system design.
• Experience with digital transformation or MES projects is preferred.
• Experience with Wonderware (Archestra, Intouch, System Platform, Skelta Workflow, Historian) is a plus.
• Fluency in English; other languages are a plus.
• In-depth knowledge of industrial automation systems, including HMI and SCADA, Allen‑Bradley controls, Siemens and Schneider PLCs.
• Experience with Allen‑Bradley ControlLogix, CompactLogix, PLC5, SLC500, PanelView/PanelViewPlus HMIs, and industrial communication networks (Ethernet, EtherNet/IP, DeviceNet, etc.).
• Experience with FactoryTalk Suite, and VisualBasic/C#/Java is a plus.
