Job summary

Eos Energy Enterprises is seeking an Associate Test Engineer to support the development, testing, and manufacturing of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) products in a fast-paced environment. You will assist senior engineers with hardware and software test programs, create automated tests, and document procedures to ensure quality and reliability.

Qualifications

  • Associates degree in an engineering discipline required.
  • 0-2 years of engineering experience.
  • Experience in testing or product development preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support Product Development & Testing.
  • Assist senior engineers in designing, developing, and validating hardware and software test programs.
  • Develop and validate automated test programs and fixtures.
  • Write and maintain detailed test procedures for manufacturing test teams, including setup, execution, and data capture.
  • Apply Six Sigma and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) tools to improve BESS manufacturing processes and reduce defects.
  • Analyze test failures to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Work with manufacturing floor teams to reduce and eliminate test escapes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure BESS product compliance and integration.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation (as-built drawings, test specs, reports).
  • Participate in product design sprints, commissioning, and FAT activities.
  • Perform data collection, analysis, and reporting for BESS performance and reliability.

This role assists with product validation, manufacturing test processes, equipment maintenance, data analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
