The Maricopa County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) is seeking an Engineer Associate Senior to perform complex, non-registered professional engineering duties related to civil projects. Responsibilities include supervising project areas, reviewing plans, and ensuring deliverables meet scope, schedule, cost, and quality requirements.
The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering and may substitute an EIT certification for experience.
Pay Range $75,250 - $120,000 annuallySalary offers are based on the candidate's equivalent experience and internal equity with other employees within the same job classification. The position is not eligible for overtime compensation.

This position requires the employee to be in the office/field or customer-facing for all hours worked. Must be able to work in a normal indoor office environment. Some work duties involve long periods of sitting, standing, walking, driving, bending/kneeling, reaching, and wearing protective gear both indoors and outdoors. The weight required to lift, push, pull, or carry is 50 pounds. Dexterity of hands for computer work, desk work, and driving motor vehicles. Must be able to work outdoors on occasion in extreme heat, cold, wind, or rain on projects. Must be able to manage frequent interruptions, time pressures, high work volumes, multiple and complicated tasks, unscheduled tasks, team-oriented activities, prompt decision-making, and interaction with government officials and the public. Must constantly maintain concentration, accuracy, ethical behavior, and a professional demeanor.
