Job summary

Egis is seeking an Electrical Engineering professional in Albuquerque, NM to design airport engineering projects including runways, taxiways, aprons, airfield lighting, and navigational aids. You will prepare engineering design reports, construction plans, and technical specifications, while contributing to project delivery with cost estimates and material takeoffs.

Candidates should hold an ABET-accredited electrical engineering degree and be eligible for EIT certification within one year;

Qualifications

• ABET Accredited Electrical Engineering Degree (BSE) is required.
• EIT Certification or ability to obtain EIT Certification within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Design of airport engineering projects including runways, taxiways, aprons, airfield lighting, navigational aids, etc.
• Preparation of engineering design reports, construction plans, and contract documents / technical specifications.
• Reviewing and developing construction documents, including design, plan development, project specifications, and calculation reports.
• Supporting project delivery with cost estimates, material quantity takeoffs, client comment responses for diverse projects and industries.
