The State of Alaska, Department of Transportation and Public Facilities, is seeking an Engineer/Architect 1/2 to join their team in Juneau.
Under the general direction of the Design Manager or a registered professional engineer, perform as Civil Engineer lead for small-to-medium-sized capital improvement projects, including preliminary engineering, field reconnaissance, and final design and advertising. Work includes leading a multi-disciplinary team through the development process for road and airport projects.
The successful candidate will possess knowledge of civil engineering concepts, principles, theories, and methods, as well as analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills are also required.

License Number, valid Alaska driver's license, and three professional references may be requested at time of interview.
