Job summary

Inteldot is seeking an Administrative Shift professional to join a manufacturing support team in Puerto Rico. Under general supervision, you will analyze operations, apply engineering principles and support system modifications to improve processes and solve mid-scale technical problems.

You will collaborate with manufacturing, facilities and QA to ensure deviations, qualifications and validations are properly executed, while supporting 24/7 operations and occasional after-hours coverage.

Qualifications

• System Owner experience in MMP environments.
• Working knowledge of cgMP procedures and pharma/biotech practices.
• Experience using Maximo in production settings.
• Capable of submitting Purchase Orders (PO) as needed.
• Experience escorting vendors on-site.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Flexible schedule to support 24/7 operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide solutions to technical problems of moderate scope.
• Act as technical expert for process, equipment, and systems during troubleshooting.
• Participate in daily operations to meet schedules and resolve issues.
• Supervise manufacturing processes for KPIs and mentor others.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, QA, facilities and utilities to define requirements.
• Support deviations, qualifications and validations in manufacturing/quality systems.
• Apply science and basic compliance knowledge to operations.
• Organize and present results for operational issues or projects.
• Assist design and implementation of system modifications and capital projects.
• Support 24/7 shift operation including after-hours as needed.

Job Description

Under general supervision, provides characterization of process optimization strategies and/or troubleshooting of operational issues in manufacturing. Apply basic engineering principles to the design and implementation of system modifications. Organize, analyze and present interpretation of results for operational issues or engineering projects of minor scope and complexity.

Requirements

• System Owner Experience- MMP experience
• Working knowledge and experience with cGMP procedures and engineering practices on pharmaceutical/biotech production processes, facilities, and equipment.
• Experience with Maximo
• Capable of working and/or submitting Purchase Orders (PO)
• Experience working and escorting vendors
• Capable of handling multiple tasks, projects and/or priorities at the same time
• Work schedule flexibility as required to support 24/7 operations, requiring occasional after-hours engineering coverage.

Responsibilities

• Provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity.
  Under general supervision will evaluate, select and apply standard engineering techniques, basic principles and procedures. Assistance given for unusual problems.
• Function as a technical expert to process, equipment and/or systems during troubleshooting operations and multi-functional discussions.
• Frequently become actively involved in daily operations when required to meet schedules or to resolve sophisticated problems.
• Routinely supervise manufacturing processes for performance indicators and operations. Suggest problem resolution and provide troubleshooting mentorship.
• Work with manufacturing, maintenance, process development, utilities, facilities, quality assurance and/or validation departments in developing requirements and
  recommendations for process and/or system modifications.
• Support the execution of manufacturing/quality systems such as deviations, equipment qualification and/or process validation, procedures, training, and new product introductions.
• Apply process, operational, scientific expertise, basic compliance knowledge, and analytical and troubleshooting skills to support manufacturing operations.
• Organizes, analyzes and presents interpretation of results for operational issues or engineering projects of moderate scope and complexity.
  
• Apply basic engineering principles to the design and implementation of system modifications, experiments and/or capital projects.
• Support 7/24 non-standard shift operation including extended hours and weekends as per business needs.

Education

• Bachelor’s in engineering + 2 years of Engineering experience
