Job summary

Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village is seeking an Engineer 3 to support ongoing maintenance and safe operation of the property. You will maintain building systems, respond to guest and operational needs, and help ensure superior guest experiences in a fast-paced setting.

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented and adaptable, delivering prompt, professional service while upholding Four Seasons’ luxury standards.

Qualifications

• Must have working knowledge of general building maintenance.
• Proficiency in reading, speaking and writing English.
• Legal work authorization in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Handle preventative maintenance of all equipment and update logs.
• Repair equipment including motors, starters, breakers, chillers and related components.
• Respond to guest and operation maintenance requests promptly.
• Respond to emergency conditions such as fires or power failures.
• Keep engineering areas clean, organized and well-maintained.

About the role:

Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village is seeking an Engineer 3 to support the ongoing maintenance and smooth operation of the property while upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and guest experience. This role plays a key part in maintaining building systems, responding to guest and operational needs, and supporting the overall functionality of the hotel. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, adaptable, and takes pride in delivering prompt, professional service in a fast‑paced environment.

What you will do:

• Handle preventative maintenance of all equipment and update appropriate logs.
• Handle all repairs of equipment including motors, starters, breakers, chillers and associated equipment throughout the entire building.
• Respond to guest calls regarding maintenance of rooms and equipment in rooms or public area in a timely manner.
• Respond to all emergency conditions such as fires, power failures, etc.
• Clean all stations in Engineering, grease traps, plumbing stoppages and maintain an organized department and hotel.

What you bring:

• High school education or equivalent experience
• Experience required by position is 6 months to two years of employment in the related position with Four Seasons or other organizations
• Requires a working technical knowledge of general building maintenance
• Ability to read, speak and write English
• Successful candidates must posses legal work authorization in the United States
