Overview

Engineer 2 - Electrical Component at GE Vernova

The Mechanical Engineer supports development projects to meet financial, performance, and time-to-market goals. This role is expected to design components and assemblies within development teams for new products and provide technical support for existing products. A technical background, critical thinking, and methodical problem solving are required.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of new high voltage dead-tank circuit breakers by designing components and assemblies with CREO 3D CAD software
• Create technical drawings of the designed components and assemblies
• Create Bills of Material within SAP
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams ensuring manufacturability, ease of assembly, cost effectiveness, and quality
• Provide technical support for other departments

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma)
• Experience with 3D CAD software (i.e., CREO, SolidWorks, Inventor)
• Experience in MS Office software including MS Excel and MS PowerPoint

Additional Information

The base pay range for this position is 71,600.00 - 89,500.00. The specific pay offered may be influenced by factors including experience, education, and skill set. This posting is expected to close on December 23, 2025.

• The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 115% or 120% of salary in certain areas.
