Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an EAC/ABET accredited Engineering Program or NCEES evaluation of non-ABET credentials; or Master’s/Doctoral in Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• Understanding of basic engineering theories and principles.
• Ability to research engineering and design issues, evaluate alternatives, and present recommendations.
• Ability to work with diverse individuals.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Understanding of electricity and power quality.
• Knowledge of distribution construction standards.
• Effective oral and written communication.

Position Overview

This is the first level of the Engineering classification. Provide engineering/technical expertise to solve problems in a specific area of expertise, with close supervision. Incumbents are expected to develop skills in their field of study, and the ability to work with greater independence.

Requirements
