Job summary

Johnson Service Group (JSG) is seeking a design engineer contractor in Atlanta, GA, for entry-level to early-career support. You will assist in planning, design, and development of technical standards for gas distribution projects.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil or General Engineering, and 0–3 years of related experience. EIT is desirable; strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Engineering with focus in Mechanical, Civil or General Engineering.
• 1–3 years progressive engineering experience or equivalent.
• EIT certification preferred; desirable for progression.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, design and development of technical standards for gas infrastructure.
• Support design options, estimates, and construction packages.
• Provide oversight and QA reviews for contractors.
• Estimate materials and transmit construction packages.
• Coordinate with design, construction and maintenance teams.
