Job summary

Johnson Service Group (JSG) is seeking degreed Engineers with 1-3 years of experience for contract roles in Atlanta, GA. EIT certification is preferred. Estimated to last 2 years. US Citizenship required. Local candidates preferred.

The Engineer in the design group assists in planning, design, and development of technical standards for gas distribution projects and supports construction activities. Candidates should be able to collaborate across teams and communicate effectively.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil or General)
• 1-3 years of progressive Engineering experience
• EIT certification preferred
• US Citizenship required
• Local candidates preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, design, and development of technical standards for gas distribution infrastructure projects.
• Design components or functionality of pipeline products.
• Plan and design mechanical equipment and oversee maintenance aspects.
• Perform system balances to identify optimal solutions and address issues.
• Provide oversight and support for construction activities.
