Socket.dev seeks a Chief Engineer to lead all technical operations for our stations in Oregon. You will direct engineering strategy, staff development, regulatory compliance, and maintenance of broadcast and IT systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in broadcast electrical systems and equipment maintenance.
• Experience training and managing technicians with a constructive leadership style.
• Strong ability to evaluate, troubleshoot, install and maintain broadcast and IT systems.
• Commitment to quality, time management, and FCC regulatory standards.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to work extended hours, weekends, and evenings.
• Able to climb ladders and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Technical degree in electronics or related field preferred.
