Job summary

Wood Construction Lumber Job Search is seeking a Senior Millwork Engineer (Cabvision) in Maryland to create 3D drawings and lead complex millwork projects. You will coach juniors, help schedule orders with the Engineering Manager, and audit standards to keep libraries current.

The role requires extensive 3D modeling in millwork, strong communication of construction details, and knowledge of AWI standards. Relocation is available for the right candidate, with benefits included.

Qualifications

• 6 years of 3D modeling experience in the millwork industry.
• Ability to handle complex engineering of custom millwork items and communicate construction via drawings/reports.
• Experience with Cabvision; Rhino is a plus.
• Knowledge of AWI standards and specifications.
• Knowledge of Innergy is beneficial.
• Must be a US citizen or permanent resident or have visa status permitting work in USA.
• Must have applicable experience in the Woodworking Industry.

Senior Millwork Engineer (Cabvision) of Commercial/Architectural Custom Millwork

Location: MD

Job Description

Create 3D drawings for our products using Cabvision while meeting budgets and schedules.

As a Senior of the department help educate others in the department with coaching/training and education.

Work with our Engineering Manager in scheduling millwork orders.

Perform periodic audits of our standards, practices and libraries to keep them current.

Help outsource complex 3D models for either submittals or production if necessary.

Eligibility Requirements

6 years of 3D modeling experience in the millwork industry.

Ability to handle complex engineering of custom millwork items and communicate its construction via drawings and reports generated by software.

Working knowledge & experience of material, machine and tool limitations.

Experience with Cabvision. Experience with other modeling programs such as Rhino is a plus.

Knowledge of AWI standards and specifications.

Knowledge of Innergy is beneficial.

Job Salary

$100K to $125K+ (pending experience)
