Job summary

Insight Global seeks an experienced engineer to lead substation design and guide external engineers. You will ensure compliance with IEEE and NESC, collaborate with the supply chain to hire contractors, secure sites, and procure major equipment.

You will coordinate with transmission operators, track budgets, and support cost estimates. The role involves guiding commissioning tests, supporting legal filings, and keeping management informed about project risks and progress.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in Substation design and engineering of High Voltage substation projects is highly preferred.
• Project Engineering and/or Project Management experience with a strong bias for action.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is preferred Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is preferred.
• MP and/or P.E. in related discipline is a plus.
