Job summary

AI Signal Research, Inc. (ASRI) is recruiting for the Potomac River Test Range (PRTR) contract in support of the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division's non-explosive open air and indoor test, evaluation, and experimentation for the Test and Evaluation Division (E40) within the Gun and Electric Weapons Department.

A BS degree in engineering/technical discipline is desired, with five years of concept design and engineering experience.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen; must have or be able to obtain a Security Clearance.
• BS in engineering/technical discipline preferred; related experience considered.
• Five years of experience in concept design and engineering.
• Ability to manage technical, schedule, and budget aspects of a project.
• Strong written and oral communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Education: A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline is desired but related experience in lieu of a degree will be considered.

Months/Years of Experience:Five (5) years' experience dealing with the concept design and engineering,

Required Qualifications:U.S. Citizen. Must have or be able to obtain a Security Clearance. Requires knowledge of principles and practices of aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer engineering, or systems engineering. Ability to manage various aspects of a project to include technical, schedule, and budget. Ability to work effectively with customers to define test requirements and objectives. Ability to function independently in a dynamic environment with a diverse team. Strong communication skills to enable effective written and oral communication with all internal and external stakeholders

Desired Qualifications: Navy and/or Marine Corps related experience is preferred but not required for consideration. Customer service experience, MS Project, Test and Evaluation program and the ability to travel 25% of the time are highly desired.

Duties:This engineer will serve as a mission lead responsible for requirements decomposition, customer interface, future mission planning and execution for the Broad Ocean Area Data Collection team.
