The Gwen Chicago is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold and service building systems and the building envelope, ensuring the safety and comfort of hotel guests, associates, and vendors. Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, minor repairs, and energy-efficiency initiatives in a historic Chicago property.
Ideal candidates have vocational training in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or carpentry, with hotel experience preferred and strong communication skills.

Salary Range: $53.50 - $53.50 Hourly Tipped/Service Charge Eligible? No Discretionary Performance Bonus Eligible? No
Maintain all building related systems and the building envelop to ensure the safety of hotel guests, associates, and vendors. Ensure compliance with company Engineering Assumptions/Culture, preventative maintenance programs and procedures, Standard Operating Procedures, Mission Vision and Values as well as all Building/Fire/Health Department codes. Maintain building complex as energy efficiency as possible constantly looking for ways to save energy.
