Job summary

ManTech in Bethesda, MD seeks a motivated Engineer to join our team onsite. You will assist in developing and maintaining software for project operations, support cross-platform communications, and participate in sensor and systems integration efforts in line with Navy standards.

A Bachelor's degree in engineering and 1+ years experience with MATLAB, LABVIEW, or Python are required. U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance are required; travel up to 20% is expected.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assist in the development, maintenance, and execution of team software utilized for project operations.

• Support the integration of cross-platform system communications and architectures.

• Participate in the test and evaluation (T&E) of sensors and integrated systems.

• Undergo specialized, on-the-job training to develop the skills required to serve as a Tracking Engineer.

• Work with other engineers to develop prototypes, conduct testing, and document findings for further improvement.

Minimum Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated familiarity with programming and engineering software, specifically LABVIEW, MATLAB, and Python.

• Hands-on experience or strong working knowledge in test and evaluation (T&E) involving sensors and systems integration.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a desire to learn new systems and tracking methodologies.

Clearance Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and have an active Secret security clearance.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to remain stationary for extended periods while working at a computer or other office equipment.

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
