Job summary

Supreme Travel is seeking a senior software engineer to collaborate with cross-functional teams and leaders to deliver core HRIS and platform products. You will shape architecture and drive delivery in a fast-paced environment.

You will mentor engineers, push for scalable services, and implement tooling, monitors, and processes that raise engineering excellence across the organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience as a software engineer.
• Experience building customer facing products.
• Experience with systems operating at significant technical and organizational scale.
• Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Experience in building projects with good abstractions and architecture.
• Comfortable developing scalable and extendable core services used in many products.

Responsibilities

• Partner with design and product management leaders to shape and drive the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the team, while maintaining a balanced approach that considers both platform and product perspectives.
• Lead initiatives such as architectural changes, improvements in the hiring process, enhancing engineering effectiveness, and managing post-mortem processes.
• Provide technical leadership and drive development in a dynamic, startup environment for a broadly scoped engineering team.
• Up-level the team by mentoring team members by setting expectations and help them grow to take on larger workstreams with confidence.
• Enforce high-quality deliverables and raise the bar for engineering excellence by building and operationalizing tools, monitors, and processes across the organization.

What You'll Do
