Job summary

Aviation Personnel is seeking an Engine Technician for the Customer Response Team in Wichita, KS. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in aircraft engine maintenance and an A&P Certificate. Responsibilities include servicing aircraft engines and effective communication with customers.

Candidates must be able to work unscheduled overtime and handle seasonal weather conditions. Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years aircraft engine maintenance work experience or equivalent.
• 2 years’ experience on corporate jet aircraft is preferred.
• Valid driver's license with insurable status is required.

Engine Technician - Customer Response Team – Wichita, KS

Only qualified candidates with the below experience will be considered for this position.

Job Requirements:

• A&P Certificate
• Typically a minimum of 3 years aircraft engine maintenance work experience or substantiated equivalent experience
• Typically a minimum of 2 years’ experience on corporate jet aircraft
• Ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings
• Ability to effectively and accurately communicate in both written and verbal form on individual and/or aircraft status with customers at all levels
• Own basic set of hand tools with the ability to demonstrate inventory & control of tools
• Must be able to work unscheduled overtime, including nonscheduled work days and holidays
• Must be able to work in seasonal/inclement weather outside
• Interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with assigned employees, other business areas, contractors, and customers
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to maintain insurable status
• Ability to work unsupervised and alone
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• The ability to obtain appropriate certification for Ground Support Equipment Qualifications as required
• Possess a valid passport with the ability to travel internationally
• Ability to obtain a Security Identification Display Area badge (SIDA)
• Previous experience in Customer Relations with emphasis on customer-facing interactions
• Experience with aircraft return to service and inspection procedure
• Ability to train other employees
