Lubrizol Corporation in Wickliffe, OH is seeking an Engine Rebuilder – Mechanical Testing to rebuild and troubleshoot test equipment, report data, and support safety and process improvements. You will work on engines in a first shift, collaborating with a diverse team to advance mobility and testing capabilities.

The role requires 3+ years in automotive engine rebuilding, strong mechanical knowledge, and proficiency with measurement tools and MS Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 3+ years of automotive/engine rebuilding, maintenance and repair experience.
• Ability to use micrometers and torque wrenches as part of rebuilds.
• Proficient with Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of engines, transmissions, and axles.
• Good basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
• Ability to document data clearly and train others.

Responsibilities

• Rebuild test apparatus to testing specifications (gas and diesel engines).
• Perform routine maintenance on rebuild equipment.
• Record and monitor rebuild data.
• Provide troubleshooting assistance for rebuild-related tests.
• Participate in customer test reviews.
• Develop and maintain skills to install/remove test units.
• Pursue process improvements, safety practices, and cost savings.
• Coordinate with Metrology and Raters for measurements and inspections.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in rebuild areas.
• Represent Lubrizol at industry rebuild workshops.
• Train peers in basic repair tasks and mentor younger technicians.
