Job summary

Ford Motor Company in Dearborn, MI seeks an EPD Technologist to manage procurement, organization and distribution of engine parts to support dynamometer testing of multi and single cylinder engines. You will assist with engine instrumentation, diagnostics and prepare engines for testing, ensuring parts are available and engineering teams stay on schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates or Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
• Experience with Teamcenter and 3D CAD tools a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Prep and Consumable Parts Inventory - document inventory levels and communicate with engine systems to maintain supply of prep kit and consumable items.
• Organize and Maintain Part Storage Cribs - keep storage areas clean and well organized with labels on parts/shelves.
• Coordinate Instrumentation and Modification of Test Hardware - work with engineers, machine shop, skilled trades, and instrumentation lab to have parts modified for specialized testing.
