Job summary

A technology startup reimagining engines in Bloomfield, Connecticut, is seeking an Engine Design & Development Engineer. This role will involve designing rotary and piston engine components, using advanced CFD simulations, and conducting structural analysis. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Mechanical Engineering and be proficient in CAD software like SolidWorks. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with FEA for stress and thermal analysis.
• Proficient in CAD software.
• Strong knowledge of DFM and DFA principles.

Responsibilities

• Design engine components including pistons and rotors.
• Conduct structural and thermal FEA.
• Support prototype builds with assembly technicians.
• Ensure DFM/DFA alignment for production.
