Job description

This position is a unique Product Development Engineering job because our team designs powertrain solutions for high profile applications. These include the F-150, F-150 Raptor R, Mustang GT, Mustang Darkhorse, and Mustang Darkhorse SC. We collaborate with Ford Racing on specialty products, and provide technical expertise to the track teams when required. We have an enthusiast mindset, and are passionate about seeing how our customers use our vehicles. If you love performance, this position will be both an exciting and challenging opportunity.

You'll have...

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Material Science or related field
• Strong communication, organization, and problem solving skills
• Ability to interact effectively with multiple internal and external stakeholders
• Strong Leadership ability
• Ability to support travel, both domestic and international, as required

Even better, you may have...

• Masters in Mechanical Engineering, Material Science or related field
• Black Belt Certification preferred
• 2+ years Design and Release Experience
• 2+ years of experience in CAD (CATIA, NX, CREO, or similar)
• Technical expertise with Gasoline Internal Combustion Engines (ICE)
• Experience with base engine dynamometer testing
• Experience with CAE Simulation Methodologies (1D, 3D, FEA, CFD)

This position is a salary grade 5 to a salary grade 8. Salaries can range from $65,100-$166,200.
Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
