Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Agile Scrum SME to partner with the Scrum Leader in creating a collaborative team culture and delivering high-quality software with timely commitments. The role requires deep expertise in backlog refinement, user story development, and cross-functional communication across engineering, QA, and product teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a relevant engineering or science field.
• 5+ years of controls system development experience.
• Experience in control system integration and testing hardware/software.
• Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and serial data communications.
• Strong requirements development and validation skills.
• Demonstrated project management ability and meeting leadership.
• Effective interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Familiarity with embedded controls development and delivery processes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for scrum team’s product content and backlog.
• Collaborate to maintain a high-collaboration culture and timely delivery of quality products.
• Refine, maintain and prioritize team backlog; verify acceptance criteria.
• Accept or reject sprint work results at Sprint Review.
• Collaborate to refine program vision, roadmaps and backlogs.
• Coordinate with system architects to determine enablers and rollout.
• Communicate with stakeholders and partners to gain alignment.
• Translate strategy into user stories and assist with estimation and sequencing.
