Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Plan and develop model predictive control and parameter estimation algorithms for military and commercial engine programs
  • Develop engine, actuation, and fuel system dynamic models and apply these models for development of functional requirements for control law algorithms, fuel system and actuation dynamics
  • Develop model-based sensor and actuator fault detection, isolation, and accommodation (FDIA) algorithms
  • Collaborate with internal customers/stakeholders to identify opportunities for control law product and process improvements
  • Participate in improving process and standards for development, validation, and verification of engine control laws, fuel system control laws, and FDIA algorithms

What you Will Do:

  • Expertise developing physics-based models of fuel systems and fueldraulic actuation systems.

  • Expertise designing and analyzing estimation algorithms by applying methods and tools from multi-input multi-output dynamical linear system and estimation theory

  • Expertise applying statistical models and methods for modeling uncertainty propagation in dynamical systems

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
