Job summary

Dave's Complete Auto is seeking an Engine Builder to join a family-owned shop in Utah. You will assemble engines, clean, measure, inspect, and digitally document builds. Training on our unique machines is provided, with all tools supplied.

This role focuses on delivering high-quality diesel and gasoline engines for in-shop installs and shipped crate engines. We value confidence, a positive attitude, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of engine machining or machine shop experience preferred.
• AERA certification can provide higher pay.
• Experience with engine assembly and measurement tools is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist in engine assembly in the machine shop.
• Be filmed building engines to support social media content and keep the shop active.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction by building high-quality diesel and gasoline engines.
• Aim to complete 3–5 engines per week.

Job Summary

We are looking for an ENGINE BUILDER to join our successful family owned business of 35 years. We've expanded our facility another 35,000 square feet, and need another great BUILDER to join our amazing crew.

As an Engine Builder, you will be responsible for assembly of engines, including cleaning, measuring, inspecting engines and digitally documenting the build. An Engine Builder will be responsible for running a SIM test machine to quality test the long block. We understand not many builders have worked with our specific machines, so fully expect to train employees in these different operations, and we will provide that. You will need to have experience with different measuring tools, but all assembly and measuring tools will be provided. We are the most well equipped shop in the state of Utah, and build engines for install in our shop, plus crate engines that we ship out across the country. We stay busy, as we're a well established business, plus have nearly 5 million online followers, which gives us a wide reach to sell engines and engine work.

We looking for someone that is confident, has a great attitude, works well with a team, and that has at least 1-2 years of engine building experience.

Responsibilities

• Use your expertise to aid our machine shop in the process of building engines
• Be filmed while building engines to continue to grow our social media, and keep the machine shop busy
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business by building the highest quality diesel and gasoline engines
• We're after 3-5 engines built a week

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of prior machine shop experience, or previous schooling is preferred
• AERA certification provides additional increase in pay

Compensation: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
