Dramatic Education, Inc. is seeking a part-time Theatre Instructor to deliver in-school and after-school drama programs for students in grades K-8.

The role involves implementing age-appropriate activities, supervising students, and coordinating with assistants to ensure safety and program quality. The ideal candidate will have at least a High School Diploma (associates degree preferred in theatre or education), 2 years of child care experience, strong classroom management, and CPR/First Aid

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associates degree or higher preferred in theatre or related field.
• Detail oriented and organized.
• 2 years child care experience.
• Classroom management skills.
• Ability to work with children in grades K-8.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willing to obtain.
• Able to clear a level 2 background check.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children at all times and ensure a safe environment.
• Teach arts-related subjects such as drama, music, dance, or art.
• Prepare age-appropriate activities for students in grades K-8.
• Supervise and train assistants on policies and procedures.
• Implement lesson plans.
• Complete classroom reports.
• Attend staff meetings outside of work hours.
