Job summary

Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta (MJCCA) is hiring a Swim Instructor to conduct private and semi-private lessons while ensuring a safe swimming environment. The role requires past coaching experience and current CPR/AED certification. You will communicate with parents regarding schedules and progress reports, and support students' emotional wellbeing. Salary is $16-$20 per 30 minute lesson. The position may require evening and weekend work to meet scheduling needs.

Qualifications

• Past coaching/teaching experience required.
• Experience with age/level appropriate lessons required.

Responsibilities

• Teach private and semi-private swim lessons.
• Maintain timeliness with each swim lesson.
• Send out Progress Report Cards to parents.
• Support the emotional and social wellbeing of swim students.

Skills

Competitive swimming experience

Excellent communication skills

Ability to teach swimming strokes

Education

Current CPR/AED Certification

Current WSI Certification
