Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Follow lesson plans provided by the regular classroom teacher to create a cohesive and consistent learning experience for students.
• Manage the classroom effectively to encourage student participation, minimize distractions and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Supervise students in and out of the classroom, including in the halls, on the playground and during transitions.
• Attend substitute roles, ensure prompt attendance, and remain on duty as specified by the principal or designee.
• Communicate important information to the absent teacher as needed.
• Follow both spoken and written directions accurately and professionally.
• Communicate effectively in both oral and written forms.
