Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to work with students of all ages and backgrounds
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to implement lesson plans and manage student behavior

Responsibilities

• Implement teachers' lesson plans that fulfill district curriculum requirements.
• Present subject matter according to TEA guidelines and school policies.
• Use instructional strategies and materials that reflect diverse learning styles.
• Collaborate with special education teachers to modify curricula per IEP.
• Utilize technology to strengthen the teaching/learning process.
• Assist with extracurricular activities as assigned by the principal.
• Help students improve study methods and habits.
• Attend and participate in parent meetings as requested by the principal and coordinator.
• Maintain classroom environment and manage student behavior in line with policies.
