Job summary

Monticello Activity Department at Riddle Village seeks an Activities Aide to assist in planning, developing, and directing daily activity programs for residents. You will collaborate with the Activities Supervisor and Personal Care Administrator to ensure activities meet residents’ psychosocial needs and comply with standards.

The role requires high school education or GED, strong communication, and the ability to coordinate with staff and families.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated high school/GED equivalent.
• Experience in a caregiving or facility environment is a plus.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families and staff.
• Must be able to follow oral and written instructions.
• Must be flexible with shift coverage.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate and direct activity programs for residents.
• Develop and coordinate department policies and procedures.
• Keep current with regulations and standards affecting activities.
• Review and revise care plans to meet resident needs.
• Engage residents and families in activity planning and outcomes.
• Provide consultation to staff to enhance activity experiences.
