Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or equivalent.
• Hold or be qualified to hold a North Carolina Professional Educator’s License in a teaching content area.
• Master’s degree in a specific subject area preferred.

• Utilizes assessment strategies aligned with WCPSS curriculum and standards to support learner development.
• Ensures effective communication with students, parents, and all stakeholders.
• Engages in planned continuous professional quality improvement for self, school, and district.
• Uses strategies to promote critical and creative thinking in students.
• Implements instructional strategies reflecting diverse cultures, learning styles, and needs.
• Maintains safe, orderly classroom and school environment.
• Plan and evaluate effective instruction and assessment in varied learning environments.
• Collaborates with peers and community to improve educational experiences.
