Job summary

American Leadership Academy is accepting applications for Math Teachers for the 2026-2027 school year for campuses in the West Valley. Candidates must possess, or be willing to obtain, a valid Arizona IVP fingerprint clearance card.

Responsibilities include implementing the math curriculum, developing lesson plans aligned to state standards, differentiating instruction, and maintaining student progress records. Competitive salary with benefits and opportunities for stipends are offered.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree is required.
Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card is required.
Preferred: Arizona Teaching Certificate or 24 credits in area or Content knowledge exams (AEPA, NES, Praxis).

Responsibilities

Implement the adopted mathematics curriculum and develop lesson plans aligned to state standards with clear objectives and assessments.
Incorporate approved instructional materials to support diverse learning styles and abilities.
Teach math concepts using engaging methods including lectures, hands-on activities, group work, and technology integration.
Differentiate instruction to meet varying levels of mathematical proficiency and needs.
Maintain accurate records of student performance and use data to inform instruction.
Provide timely feedback and organize assessments to evaluate progress.
Communicate with students, parents, and guardians about progress and concerns.
Organize and support math clubs, tutoring, and extracurricular activities.
