Job summary

The Out of Door Academy of Sarasota is hiring a Lower School Teaching Assistant for the Siesta Key Campus, starting in August 2025. This full-time, 10-month position focuses on providing targeted instruction and support to students in PreK through 2nd grade. Candidates are expected to have at least an Associate’s Degree, with a preference for a Bachelor’s in elementary education and experience in independent schools. The role involves collaboration with teachers and fostering a positive learning environment, with a robust benefits package offered.

Qualifications

• Teaching experience in PreK through 2nd grade preferred, ideally in an independent school setting.
• Ability to implement small group instruction and differentiate instruction.
• Will complete a video submission interview through SparkHire.

Responsibilities
