Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Spanish, or Education related field.
• At least 3 years of experience teaching Spanish language.
• Must be able to speak and understand Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily instruction and learning activities in Spanish.
• Create lesson plans emphasizing vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, reading and spelling.
• Develop an engaging classroom environment to promote listening and interaction.
• Teach conversational Spanish with focus on pronunciation and key phrases.
• Instruct on Spanish culture, including locations, festivals, food, attire.
• Organize events for students to showcase language skills.
• Maintain classroom discipline according to school policies and post grades.
• Attend faculty meetings, trainings, and school events as requested.
• Prepare assignments, homework, and tests; monitor student progress.
