Qualifications

• Associate degree or 48 semester hours or 72 quarter hours or demonstrated proficiency via competency test.
• Maintain high level of confidentiality regarding student and staff information.
• Physical ability to perform routine classroom activities.

Responsibilities

• Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning.
• Model appropriate behaviors for students.
• Develop and maintain professional rapport with teachers and staff.
• Assist students at arrival and dismissal of school.
• Assist in the supervision of students during lunch and recess periods.
• Assist with grading and reviewing homework.
• Assist teachers in monitoring, collecting data and maintaining records.
• Perform routine classroom management and maintenance duties.
• Organize materials and schedules; support educational technology.
