Job summary

Summit Academy Management seeks a Teacher to provide a quality educational program for students under direct supervision, aligned with abilities and growth. The role emphasizes creating an inviting learning environment and supporting student achievement in line with the district’s instructional design.

The Teacher will plan instruction, assess progress, and report results using the approved tools, while adhering to Summit Academy’s Instructional Design and PBIS policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree required.
• Valid Ohio teaching certificate or license required.
• Meet Federal Properly Certified Teacher standards as determined by ESEA.
• Appropriate criminal background clearance from OBVI and FBI.

Responsibilities

• Provide students with a quality educational program aligned to ability and growth.
• Create a welcoming, effective learning environment
• Plan instruction and evaluate student progress using the approved reporting tool
• Follow Summit Academy’s Instructional Design and PBIS system
• Maintain professional relationships with staff, students, and families
