You will promote high-quality service, communicate with families, and support program activities while adhering to YMCA competencies and safety standards.

Qualifications

• One to two years related experience preferred.
• CPR; First Aid; AED; Bloodborne Pathogens within 30 days of hire.
• Completion of YMCA program-specific certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assists in establishing and maintaining a safe and healthful environment.
• Maintains equipment and materials in a safe, orderly fashion.
• Cleans and sanitizes toys weekly and as needed.
• Supervises children and supports social-emotional development.
• Communicates with families in a friendly, respectful manner.
• Provides age-appropriate activities and group management.
