Qualifications

• Engaging and welcoming personality.
• Current bartenders’ certification or license.
• Knowledgeable in mixology and beverage trends.
• Descriptive and capable of guiding guest beverage choices.
• 2–4 years of bartender experience.
• Knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and guest-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests as they arrive or move about the bar area.
• Maintain proper setup of the bar daily.
• Guide guests on their beverage journey through descriptive selling.
• Be accurate in order taking, confirming all special requests.
• Be the master of the bar, understanding details to enhance conversation.
• Work collaboratively with other servers and kitchen/bar staff.
• Assist guests with concerns to guide them to a happy resolution.
• Finalize the experience with timely and accurate bill presentation.
• Requisition and stock beer, wine, and spirits.
• Maintain stock and stocking of garnishes, juices, and perishables daily.
• Mix, garnish, and present drinks following recipes and portion control.
• Input orders into the POS and create a check for each guest.
• Lock up and store beverages, food, and equipment; secure cash drops.
