The Hanover Inn, part of Pyramid Global Hospitality, is seeking a motivated bartender to deliver memorable hospitality from the first greeting to the final bill. You will set up the bar, guide guests through the beverage journey, and craft drinks with precision following standard recipes.

We seek current bartenders’ certification, strong knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails and spirits, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Current bartenders’ certification or license.
• Knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails and spirits.
• Ability to describe the menu and upsell confidently.
• Thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests as they arrive and engage them at the bar.
• Maintain proper bar setup and stock daily.
• Guide guests on beverage journeys with descriptive selling.
• Take accurate orders and confirm special requests.
• Master the bar details to enhance conversation.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen/bar staff.
• Resolve guest concerns to ensure satisfaction.
• Present accurate bills and process payments promptly.
• Stock beer, wine, spirits and perishables daily.
• Prepare drinks per standard recipes with portion control.
• Enter orders into POS and generate checks for guests.
• Lock up and secure beverages, food and equipment.
