Brooke Knoll Village in Avon, IN seeks an Activity Assistant to support the Activity Director in delivering meaningful programs aligned with the facility's philosophy and policies. You will help residents engage in activities, organize materials, and maintain records with timely paperwork.

Responsibilities include assisting with seasonal activities, updating bulletin boards, and completing initial activity interest assessments, while collaborating with other departments to create a vibrant

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or its equivalent is preferred.
• Must possess a valid Indiana driver’s license.
• Ability to read and write in English, communicate with residents, families and staff.
• Capable of extended periods of standing and bending.
• Knowledge of arts, crafts, music and group activities.

Responsibilities

• Encourage residents to participate in meaningful activities.
• Maintain all records relating to activities and complete paperwork on a timely basis.
• Assist with seasonal activities and bulletin boards.
• Complete initial activity interest assessment.
• Assist the Activity Director in integrating the activity department with other departments.
