Wesleyan Village in Elyria, OH seeks an Activity Assistant to join our caring team. The ideal candidate will be devoted and compassionate, with experience working with individuals with dementia, and able to develop creative activities for residents.

You will conduct and assist with activity groups, lead one-to-one sessions, help with planning, transport residents to activities, and present a positive image of the organization while supporting resident well-being and engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience working with individuals with dementia.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Devoted and compassionate about the chosen career.

Responsibilities

• Conducts and/or assists with assignments and assigned activity groups
• One-to-one activities utilizing interpersonal needs to meet resident/client needs
• Provides input and assistance with activity planning
• Escort residents to and from activities
• Projects a positive image of the organization in dealing with residents/clients, co-workers, public
