Job summary

Victorian Post Acute in San Francisco, CA is seeking a compassionate and energetic Activity Assistant to support our Activity Director in creating engaging programs that enhance residents' quality of life.

The role focuses on planning and leading activities, coordinating outings, and documenting programs to promote physical, mental, and social well-being of residents. Salary ranges from $24 to $25 per hour, with full-time hours and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing, long-term care, or healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with elderly and disabled residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and leading individual, small group, and large group activities
• Support resident outings, special events, transportation coordination, and activity documentation
• Encourage participation in hobbies, crafts, games, reading, and other recreational programs
• Maintain a clean and organized Activity Department while assisting with resident assessments and care plans
