Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with district curriculum
• Plan and use effective instructional strategies and adapt for learners
• Assess student learning using formal and informal methods
• Collaborate with staff to set goals and support IEPs if needed
• Coordinate with teachers, aides and volunteers to enable learning
• Supervise instructional aides and volunteers as assigned
• Assess student achievement and provide feedback
• Support extracurricular activities as assigned
• Maintain a positive, safe classroom environment
• Communicate with parents and stakeholders about student progress
• Follow district safety protocols and school policies
• Attend faculty meetings and participate in committees
• Ensure proper documentation and records are kept
• Direct the work of instructional staff as needed
• Maintain professionalism and comply with regulations
