Genesis HealthCare is seeking an Activity Assistant to enrich the lives of our patients and residents. You will plan, organize, and implement engaging activities addressing physical, cognitive, social, and spiritual needs, while collaborating with care teams.

You will document participation, attend care plan meetings, and help create meaningful daily experiences for residents in our facilities. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the spoken English language to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our patients and visitors and respond to their medical and physical needs.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and implement engagement activities for patients/residents.
• Document attendance and participation in recreation programs.
• Attend care plan meetings as needed.
