Job summary

Bat Conservation International (BCI) is seeking an Engagement Operations Coordinator to support the Engagement Team in moving priorities from idea to action and to help run projects with structure and clarity. Reporting to the Chief Engagement Officer, this role balances operational work, cross‑team coordination, and public-facing duties.

You will manage timelines, coordinate events and conferences, respond to inquiries, and help strengthen Bracken Cave operations and earned revenue

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
• 3+ years in project coordination, operations, or related fields.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage projects with multiple stakeholders
• Strong organization, judgment, initiative, and follow-through.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from planning to implementation with timelines, stakeholders and deliverables.
• Establish clear plans, responsibilities, and next steps for cross-functional work.
• Identify barriers, improve workflows, and develop practical systems for efficiency.
• Take on emerging and special projects as priorities evolve.
• Coordinate conferences, events, and external engagement opportunities.
• Provide operational support to the Chief Engagement Officer and maintain coordination with priority stakeholders.
