The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a highly skilled and versatile Engagement Manager (EM) to lead the delivery of complex cloud solution projects. In this role, you will combine technical expertise with strong project leadership skills to ensure successful AWS-based solution implementations for clients. Your responsibilities include bridging business requirements with technical solutions, facilitating technical discussions, and ensuring alignment with customer outcomes. You will apply AWS frameworks such as Well-Architected and Cloud Adoption Framework, demonstrate technical credibility across stakeholders, and translate customer needs into technical requirements, decomposing complex problems and making informed trade-offs considering performance, scalability, security, and business impact.
You will also validate technical solutions against business goals, identify when additional evaluation is needed, and manage technical risks. Achieving and maintaining relevant AWS certifications, developing domain expertise, and effectively communicating technical concepts to diverse audiences are essential. As you advance, you'll lead more complex projects, shape technical strategies, and establish best practices. Your management and leadership skills will drive project execution, risk management, issue resolution, and customer satisfaction.
