Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0 years of experience in a senior living setting; experience in activity direction or recreation therapy a plus.
• Ability to lift, bend, and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to working with seniors.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and implement a comprehensive activity program for residents.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate activities into daily care plans.
• Recruit, train, and supervise activity staff and volunteers.
• Design and lead activities such as art classes, exercise programs, and social events.
• Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness and adjust as needed.
• Build and maintain relationships with residents, families, and staff.
• Maintain accurate records and reports of activities and feedback.
